Ron Schafer, CPA

Ronald Schafer (Ron) was born in Minot, ND and his parents moved to MT 6 months later.  As a graduate of Glasgow Senior High, he attended Carroll College graduating with an accounting degree.  Upon graduating in 1984, he moved to Bozeman.  Ron obtained his CPA license in 1986.  He worked for a regional accounting firm before establishing Schafer & Co., PLLC in February of 1997.  Ron has worked extensively with a diverse group of clients, many for over 35 years, especially small businesses.  When not in the office, Ron enjoys outdoor activities including camping, boating, hiking, riding the trails on his side by side in addition to traveling with his wife Linda.
